Day One
You don’t have to venture far to get the pulse racing with a challenging walk directly from the hotel, straight up to the Broadway Tower. Dogs are welcomed and may enjoy the circular walk and dog agility obstacles. You will find some dog friendly seating areas at both the Morris and Brown café and the Espresso Bar Restaurant at Tower Barn.
Day Two
Batsford Arboretum is home to a unique collection of some of the world’s most beautiful and rare trees, shrubs and bamboos spread across 60 acres. Enjoy early colour from the snowdrops, followed by spring-flowering bulbs and spectacular Japanese flowering cherries. Escape the heat under the tree canopy in summer and prepare to be amazed by the outstanding autumn colour!
Day Three
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is a volunteer operated heritage railway in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire offering a round trip of 28 miles. It uses part of the route of the former Great Western Railway's main line from Birmingham to Cheltenham which used to run via Stratford-upon-Avon.
Well-behaved dogs can normally travel on trains for a flat-rate fare although restrictions may apply for some special events. Assistance dogs travel free of charge.
Day Four
Every summer between June and August, a glorious site of acres of purple flowers stretching across the hills. A commercial, working farm, the lavender is harvested every year at the end of July to produce the essential oil and lavender grains needed to make products. The display field is open to the public and contains approximately 20 acres of row upon row of lavender for you to enjoy. Here you can walk, relax, picnic and while away the hours. Of course, perfect for selfies. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
